HIGH fliers North Seaton Elephant were well and truly knocked off their perch last Thursday night as they surrendered top position in MB Socca Leagues division one.

Previously unbeaten they had no answer to the ruthless finishing of Real Ashington as they rattled five past them with no reply.

Elephant’s cause was not helped when one of their players was red carded for foul and abusive language.

Base FC regained top spot as they eased to a 2-0 victory over Newsham.

The unpredictable Sparta Hatbreath had one of their off nights as they found The Biggin a hard nut to crack and suffered a 4-1 loss.

Newbiggin Blaze continue a steady progress up the league and manger Ian can be pleased with the 3-0 victory over Multiple Scoregasms.

In divsion two the top clash saw the two Stations lock horns at Hirst Welfare Centre.

And it was the Boys who were victorious as they overcame a resilient FC to win 2-1.

The Doggers came up against Newbiggin Bad Boys and did not have it all their own way as the young lads from Newbiggin are starting to find their feet.

However, Chandler’s experienced campaigners eventually ran out 4-1 winners.

New team The Whipping Boys got off to a flying start and theyll be content with a good performance against Ashington All Stars as they won 3-1 to give Ian’s team a winning start.

Brazilliant collect three valuable points as they defeated A Town Rangers 2-1.
