Nicky Whitelaw and Jordan Robertson fired in for Wallsend Boys’ Club in their win over Alnwick Town Reserves, who netted through Andrew Kiddell.
Nick Little’s unlucky own-goal gave Seaton Burn a victory at Whitburn Athletic and the points were shared in the basement battle between Swalwell and Cramlington United.
Dan Igo struck twice from the penalty-spot for Swalwell and David Jeffers got the other as they came from behind three times – Dan Gray, Martin Kelly and Mark Nicholson all scored in the first half for United.
