THERE appears no stopping current champions Real Ashington as they continue to lead MB Socca Leagues division one.

They turned on the style at the Hirst Welfare Centre last Thursday night as Ashington All Stars were their next victims as they put six past the basement team with no reply.

Ashalona have had an on-off-season but they beat second placed The Grand 3-1 win.

Barca Newsham were awarded a 3-0 victory with no opponents.

Division two looks like its going to the wire as three teams have title aspirations.

The top two clashed with no fewer than seven goals scored, and it was Sporting Abeergut who took over Bubbles FC at the top as they won 4-3. Sporting now two points clear.

In third are Station FC, only six points behind top spot with five games to go. They held of a resilient ACE United to win 2-0.

There is a couple of spaces to fill in the FA affiliated leagues which are played on the 3G surface. Contact Graham on 07891 321753 or e-mail Chris at mcca11@blueyonder.co.uk
