AFTER 15 weeks and 15 wins, MB Socca Leagues division one leaders and reigning chanpions Real Ashington finally stuttered on Thursday night at the Hirst Centre as they only managed a 2-2 draw against second placed Station Boys.

In an end to end classic it was Station’s manager who proved the hero as he beat the Real manager and goalkeeper from just inside the his own half for a well-earned point.

Meanwhile Base FC won 3-0 and Multiple Scoregasms put in yet another good performance by beating The Whipping Boys 3-0.

Division two leaders V & N Jewellers are now ten points clear with seven games to go after beating Station FC 6-0.

Sparta Hatbreath are chasing the leaders and they beat Ashington All-Stars 4-1, and the final game saw Red Devils and Brazilliant draw 2-2.

More teams are wanted for the new season which starts in five weeks. Call 07891 321753 or 07921 620308 to register.
