LAST Thursday night saw MB Socca League division one leaders Real Ashington continue their 100 per cent start to the season as they made it 13 wins on the bounce.

The Hirst Welfare Centre witnessed yet another commanding performance as they defeated The Whipping Boys 3-1 to go 15 points clear.

Station Boys consolidated second spot as they continued their recent fine form with a 3-0 victory over Base FC.

Multiple Scoregasms remain mid-table after a 3-0 victory over North Seaton Elephant.

In divison two there is no stopping V & N Jewellers’ charge to the top flight as they have now racked up an impressive 61 goals in 13 games. They put Brazilliant to the sword with a 5-1 victory.

Trailing them is Station FC, who put three past KFC without in reply, and level on points with them and gunning for the runners-up spot is Sparta Hatbreath, who are looking to return to the top flight at the first time of asking. An impressive display saw them beat Ashington All Stars 4-0. The final game saw Red Devils beat The Doggers 3-0.
