NEW team Blyth Rangers Deportivo Under-10s have secured support from two local companies.
The team, currently a squad of 14 of both under nines and under tens, are being helped by Seaton Sluice-based digital media business Inform2.com, which donated funds to help purchase a new strip for the season.
And the P&G Employees Charity Fund made a donation for tracksuits for outdoor training.
The team was formed in August 2010 and managed to gain a place in the Datastor/KYPC Mini Soccer League.
Team manager Steve Richmond said: “We are delighted that two local companies chose to support us this year, especially as we didn’t have any funds in place in the beginning because we started so late last year.
“I would just like to say a big thank you for the generous donations, from not only myself, but all of the children and parents involved in Blyth Rangers Deportivo Under-10s.”
