BEDLINGTON TERRIERS FC travelled to Stokesley Sporting Club on Saturday having already scored 24 goals past them this season.
Despite early pressure the Terriers were unable to find the back of the net with Ian Graham coming close when his shot struck the foot of the post and rebounded out.
They did however break the deadlock in the 26th minute when Anthony Shandran fired home in off the post.
Shandran added his second of the game in the 35th minute when a sweeping cross by Brackstone was chested down in the six yard box and smashed home for his 35th goal of the season.
Shandran added to his tally and scored another hat-trick when a long ball was headed through by Ian Graham, Shandran beat the offside trap and rounded Hutchinson in the Stokesley goal.
That was to be the last of the action from Shandran who had already indicated to the bench that he was suffering from a back injury and was replaced by Novak.
The Terriers added their fourth goal of the game only two minutes into the second half when a right sided corner played in saw a goalmouth scramble, Hubbard hitting a shot which was directed into the net by Ian Graham.
The home side pulled a goal back through an sublime finish by Porritt, dinking the ball over Pickering when he advanced in a one on one situation.
Bedlington added a fifth goal of the game through substitute Steve Bowey, some brilliant first time passing carved open the Stokesley defence, the perfectly weighted ball inside by Anthony Chapman set it up for Bowey to smash the ball into the top corner with his left foot.
Shandrans goals today now takes his tally against Stokesley SC to 15 goals in 3 appearances, totalling 188 minutes of football.
