Three more Blyth Spartans players have been called up to the England C representative squad for the game against a Northern League XI at Bishop Auckland on Tuesday night.
Conor Grant, Arran Wearmouth and Danny Parker have been added to the squad, taking the total number of Blyth players selected to seven.
The trio will join team-mates Matthew Wade, Nathan Buddle, Dan Maguire and Lewis Horner for the game which was organised to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Northern League.
The call-ups are a great sense of pride for Spartans manager Tom Wade as he described them as “a great reward” for the players.
He said: “The club are proud to have the lads in the squad.
“It’s an honour and a great reward for the hard work they have all put in this season.”
