BLYTH Rangers Valencia travelled to Prudhoe after a two week break looking to continue their bright start and make it three wins from three.
From the start it was going to be difficult as Prudhoe showed they were going to be tough opposition.
But Blyth took the lead after some great play down the right involving Connor Hicks and Connor Vincent, whose pass found Ross Laidlaw who controlled well before his low half volley beat the keeper from 18 yards.
Both sides defended well throughout but 15 minutes from time Blyth sealed the win.
Rhys Thompson followed up a Kaelin Maddison header across goal to tap in at the far post.
Man of the match Alex Robertson in the Blyth goal pulled off a magnificent double save to deny Prudhoe a consolation in the denying minutes.
