BLYTH Spartans Under-15s continued there good form when they took on New Fordley in the Divisional Cup.

Spartans were not taking their lower division opponents lightly and from the off they controlled the game.

They settled their nerves as early as the sixth minute and went on to dominate in a 7-2 win.

Another impressive statistic was the fact Blyth had seven different goal scorers – Jordan Yeomans, Alex Robinson, Liam Wall, James Gillie, Luke Watson, Kyle Mills and Ayrton Browning.

The win sets up a mouth-watering quarter-final tie with Blyth Town in the new year.
