Another trophy for Spartans Under-15s

BLYTH Spartans Under-15s capped off a terrific season by retaining the prestigious Warwick Bridge tournament.

This age group first won this competition four seasons ago and have regularly reached the latter stages since.

However, the script was written this season as having already secured two major trophies, Blyth entered two teams, with both combining to lose only two matches all day.

Blyth Greens reached the final and won a dramatic final penalty shoot-out to make it three major trophies in the season.

The squad which went to Warwick Bridge was Reece Dobie, Jordan Yeomans, Liam Wall, Samuel Johnson, James Golding, Jake Whisson, Alex Robinson, Ayrton Browning, Alex You’ll, Luke Watson, James Gillie and Kyle Mills.
