Bubbles are blowing hot

IN the MB Socca Leagues first division last Thursday night, mid table Bubbles FC had their best win for a while as they defeated bottom team Station FC 4-0.

But Real Ashington remain top as they were awarded a 3-0 victory when oppenents The Whipping Boys were unable to field a team.

In what was an entertaining game and high class entertainment, V&N Jewellers staged a remarkable comeback as they found themselves 2-0 down after ten minutes against Station Boys.

However, they fired themselves up to pull of a 3-2 win to remain only three points behind old foes Real Ashington.

In the second division, leaders Bayern Neverlusen seem to have lost there way lately and they had to settle for a point with a 1-1 draw against Ashalona FC. A good point for Ashalona as they look to finish mid-table.

ACE United closed the gap on second placed Ashington All Stars to six points as they kept their slim hopes of runners-up spot with a 2-0 victory.

The final game saw Bankhouse awarded a 3-0 win over Bedlington Top End FC.
