THE outstanding Tyneside Amateur Challenge Shield quarter-final saw Blyth Town Reserves beat Grainger Park Boys Club 3-1, with Martin Robinson and Chris Dobey (2) on the scoresheet.

Meanwhile Cramlington Town A kept up the pressure in division two with a 5-0 win over North Shields.

Steven Elsey and Jordan Watson both netted braces and Martin Wardale added a fifth.
