The seventh annual Cramlington Two Star Junior Table Tennis Tournament takes place at the Sporting Club Cramlington on Saturday, November 1.

Organised by Cramlington Table Tennis Club and sponsored by aalco, the UK’s leading metal stockholder, the event regularly attracts entries from the north east area and Yorkshire.

Club chairman Alan Hedley said: “There will be around 50 competitors playing in under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-18 events, boys and girls.

“The first event will commence shortly after 9am and games will continue until around 5pm.

“With up to ten tables in operation at any one time there are plenty of games for people to watch. Spectators are welcome to come at any time during the day.”

For those interested in playing table tennis, Cramlington also runs a Friday evening club night where up to 22 tables can be in use.

Players of all ages and abilities attend.
