THE annual golf outing of CW Davis Ltd took place at Alnmouth, raising £500 for Macmillan Nurses.

The builder and developer firm, which has a head office in Seaton Delaval, held its annual event at Alnmouth Golf Club, Foxton Hall.

This year Mr Davis decided to host this as a charity event for the Macmillan nurses appeal and in memory of Edward Scott Senior, who lived at Hartley Square, Seaton Sluice.

Twenty golfers took part in the competition.

The Employees Cup was won for the second year in succession by John Melody.

Tony Howard came first among the visitors, Alan Ross, second and Derek Cowell third.
