Comrades shock league leaders

COMRADES A shocked Blyth Valley Pool Assocation Super League leaders Bedlington Station with a 7-5 victory which saw the Sports A take first place after their 9-3 victory over a game Seaton Terrace team.

The game of the night saw the Annitsford Irish and the Brockwell Seam go to the sudden death play-off for the bonus points with the scores tied at 6-6. Chris Gill for the Irish took the point.

Newsham Side Club won their first game of the season with a 9-3 victory over Cramlington Village, the win ensures they are off the bottom of the table for the first time this season.

The Joiners Arms won away at Sun Inn B. Sun Inn A team did not fare any better, going down 11-1 against Seahorse A.

The Percy Arms continue their unbeaton run with a hard fought 7-5 win against Seahorse B.

In the final game Comrades B beat Dudley WMC 10-2.
