On Sunday Blyth Running Club will be holding the Spirit of the Staithes ten-kilometre run, sponsored by Transped Logistics and Port of Blyth.
The race will start at the quayside at 10am, and all finishers will receive a T-shirt.
Walkers and cyclists using the beach path are being made aware that the runners will be on the path from about 10.10am but hopefully they will not be too inconvenienced.
Entries on the day will be taken at the Quay public house until about ten minutes before the start, although the entries will be £12 for club runners and £14 for unattached runners.

All coaching is by qualified UK Athletics coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.
