Locals at The Isabella pub in Blyth raised £600 from a darts competition attended by professional darts player Tony O’Shea.

More than 35 local players paid to play O’Shea and they all were beaten.

He then performed a question and answer session, signed autographs and raffled the dart board used.

The organisers handed over a cheque to the Special Baby Care Unit at the new hospital in Cramlington which cared for Terri Smiths son Layton-Jai when he was born.
