Medal joy for taekwondo school

Hwa Range ITF Taekwon-Do school have enjoyed considerable success this year at a range of events and competitions.

In June, students at the Blyth-based school took part in an international competition where they won ten medals – four gold, two silver and four bronze.

The gold medal winners were Simon Reszkowski who won in patterns and sparing, while David Nyx also won two for special techniques and sparing.

The two silver medals went to Rafal Kaminski and Daniel Wieczorkowski while the bronze winners were Bernadette Kaminska, Edith Czarnecka, Mariusz Biziewski and Daniel Wieczorkowski.

The school holds classes for children on Monday from 6pm to 7pm and Wednesday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

Adult classes take place on Monday (7pm to 9pm), Wednesday (6.30pm to 8.30pm) and Saturdays (11am to 12.30pm).
