At the half way stage of the six fixture North East Harrier Cross Country League, Blyth Senior men are looking in a strong position for promotion.

In the three fixtures so far they have finished first on two occasions and on the third they hosted the event.

At the Aykley Heads fixture Brad Clough had a strong run to finish in the top 40 and this meant that he now runs from the fast pack.

He was well supported by Graeme Stewart, Dale Smith, Chris Sheffer, Steve Dobby and Martin Scott as they finished as first team in their league.

One week later at Wallington Hall, Stewart had a top 20 finish and he progresses up a pack, and with Rob Barclay and Peter Holmback making their season debuts they once again they took first place in their league.
