Eight teams from the Blyth and Bedlington School Sport Partnership played in the annual netball tournament for Year 4 pupils.
Throughout the afternoon the teams all played each other in a round robin competition, learning the rules and tactics as they went along.
The games were once again officiated by a team of sport leaders from Bedlington Community High School who are developing their skills in umpiring, scoring and coaching.
Josie Pointon, netball development officer for Northumberland, attended the event to make a valuable link between schools and clubs.
She coached some skills during the afternoon, mentored the sport leaders and spoke to the players about local clubs and how they could join.
It was close at the top of the table by the end of the afternoon with the top five teams only being separated by five points.
Taking the honours were Stead Lane, who were ahead of West End and Morpeth Road.
The other teams taking part were Malvins Close, New Delaval and Whitley Memorial.
