Ben Young took on Sunderland’s M Stewart but Young suffered a heavy nosebleed at the end of the first round and the fight was stopped at the end of the second round.

Both Jordan Rowley and Robert Wilson scored comfortable points victories while Owen Rees went one better and stopped his opponent in the second round.
Today (Thursday), Jordan Rowley and Gary Kadansky travel to Plais Farm while on Saturday Bradley Sim is in action at Bishop Auckland.
Newbiggin have their final show of the season on Friday, June 14, at Newbiggin Sports Centre. Tickets are available at the door for £10 while ringside tables (ten seats) are available for £150.
