BLYTH Rugby Club’s junior stars were the prize guys at the annual awards presentation evening in the clubhouse.

This is the time of the year when the club has a chance to recognise the hard work and effort the youngsters have put in what has been a successful season.

Awards were presented to: Matthew Hall, players’ player; Tom Wood, under-15’s player of the year; Connor Bath, under-15’s most improved player; Jake Towers, cockerel of the year, a fun award for the biggest mistake of the season; Shaun Robinson, under-16’s player of the year and special memorial award; Deven Rees, special memorial award; and Adam Blackhall, under-16’s most improved player.
