Three of the region’s top darts competitions get underway this month at Bedlington Station WMC.
The Mark Williams Memorial Trophy, the Ian Whillis Memorial Men’s competition and the Milton Anderson Memorial Ladies competition will again be competed for by the top players in the region.
Last year’s winners James Foster, Gordon Dobey and Julie Thompson will all be looking to hold on to their crowns for another year.
Beginning on June 6, the Mark Williams trophy will run for 10 weeks with two qualifiers from each week reaching finals night.
There is a £6 double entry system which includes a weekly highest checkout prize, along with the guaranteed £1,000 prize for the champion.
The Ian Whillis and Milton Anderson competitions will also start in June, although the date is to be confirmed.
These competitions will also run for 10 weeks, with prizes of £600 and £250 respectively awaiting the winner. The single entry fee will be £3 and £2.
For all competitions registration will be at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
