'£4m bid for United midfielder rejected'

SUNDERLAND are reported to have had a £4m bid for Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher turned down.
A report in the News of the World claims Black Cats boss Roy Keane has failed in an attempt to add his former team-mate at Old Trafford to his Sunderland squad.
The newspaper claims Keane is now considering going back with a £5m offer, though Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to keep 24-year-old.
