A WORLD famous pianist will perform as part of the Northumberland Music Festival later this year.
Concert pianists Murray McLachlan will perform along with his pupils from the acclaimed Chetham’s School of Music at the Northumberland Music Festival at Doxford Hall Hotel near Alnwick on Wednesday, November 2, and has been especially commissioned as part of this unique ten day festival taking place at Doxford, Eshott and Guyzance Halls this autumn.
The piano recitals will include pieces by Beethoven and Liszt.
Tickets for this concert are priced at £20 per person and include a two course buffet supper.
On Thursday, November 3, Murray will be giving a free workshop for aspiring young pianists in the region – a unique chance for them to spend time with this world famous musician.
