Top Gear stars visit Northumberland to film on Bamburgh beach
Filming for an episode of BBC’s Top Gear has been taking place at Bamburgh beach in Northumberland.
Presenters Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris were spotted racing cars near Bamburgh Castle.
They were also seen emerging from the Bamburgh Castle Inn in Seahouses.
Among the lucky ones to meet them was Alfie Lindon, six, and his family, from Runcorn, Cheshire, who were on holiday at Budle Bay Croft.
His mum, Rachel, said: “We noticed they were filming on the beach yesterday (Wednesday). We thought we would take a drive up to see and was told it was Top Gear.
"We went for a coffee at the kiosk and they were all sat in between filming. I asked if they would mind me taking a photo with my son.
"They were very accommodating, chatting with him, asking him about ice creams on the beach and even offered him some choccie out of their supplies. They were all lovely to him and he was made up.”
