Bedlington firm unveils major expansion

An electronics firm has expanded its state-of-the-art facility in Bedlington.

TT Electronics’ CEO Richard Tyson opens the new clean room at the company’s state of the art facility in Bedlington.

TT Electronics has unveiled its new clean room expansion as part of a major milestone in its multi-year site investment project.

Officials at the global provider of engineered electronics for performance-critical applications were delighted with the new facilities.

The recent completed work increases TT’s manufacturing and operational capability to support the enhanced production of the microelectronics, sensors and specialist components designed and developed on site.

The opening of the new, ISO 7 clean room, which measures over 1,000sq m, represents a major milestone and is the latest phase of an investment project which has seen £1.6m already put in place to modernise, redevelop, and increase capacity.
