The 18 Northumberland wards with Covid rates below Tier 1 Herefordshire

A small increase in Covid-19 case rates has been reported in Northumberland.

Data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the county-wide infection rate was 173.3 on December 20.

This compares to 156.4 on December 16.

By comparison, the England-wide rate stands at 284.2.

Northumberland is currently in Tier 3 restrictions but there are 18 wards with rates below those of Tier 1 Herefordshire (78.3).
