SEEING double twice are a young Seaton Delaval couple who have had their second set of twins in 18 months. Ivan and Anne Marie Windsor, already the proud parents of Laura and Lisa, have been joined by two more bundles of joy, Leanne and Louise.

A BRIDEGROOM-TO-BE got the wedding day blues at the end of his stag night celebrations. He ended up blue with cold after his friends stripped him naked and chained him to a traffic sign on the busy A189 road near East Sleekburn.

BOOTS in Cramlington entered a team in the third ‘Wheels Along the Wall’ cycle challenge run, a firmly established long distance test of stamina and endurance. The 128-mile ride follows the old Roman road along Hadrian’s Wall.
