Northumberland’s only Reggae DJ is jammin’ the airwaves 
Community radio station, Radio Northumberland has brought a touch of Jamaica to the region with the arrival of a brand new Reggae show.

Station Manager, Stewart Allen, welcomed Wayne Urwin from Cramlington to the Bedlington-based station.

“This is a very niche show which is attracting listeners from all across the UK and abroad,” he said.

“The show plays everything from mainstream popular artists like Bob Marley to specialist and cult figures in the Reggae world.”

The Reggae Roots Show airs every Thursday evening at 10pm and the station can be heard online at
