Former Bay City Roller to perform in the county

A multi-instrumentalist who performed with the Bay City Rollers is heading to Seaton Delaval for his latest show.

Seaton Terrace Club will host Eric Faulkner, who joined the Bay City Rollers in 1971, when he performs at the end of the month.

Eric played viola in Edinburgh’s Youth Orchestras, cutting his milk teeth at his first public show at Leith Town Hall, before forming his own school band at just 13 years old.

When he was 15 his band supported Slade as far down south as Manchester, causing some serious truancy from his local comp, Liberton High School on the south side of Edinburgh.

Eric Faulkner will be at Seaton Terrace Club, Seaton Delaval, on Saturday, August 30.

Tickets priced at £12, are available be calling (0191) 237 0133 or 07745 708622.
