Horse show makes a welcome return

A popular horse show is returning to Blyth this month.

Gloucester Lodge Farm is holding its annual show on Sunday, August 17, opposite the beach on Links Road between Blyth and Seaton Sluice.

Back for 2014 is the cash prize show jumping, along with foreign breeds, mountain and moorland classes, and a fun dog show in aid of Guide Dogs.

There will be stalls and stands, with Alpaca enthusiast Sandra Oliver, from Cherry Hope Alpacas, there with Solomon, Lysander, Santiago and friends, and there will also be face painting and craft stalls, and food from the Northumbrian Farm Shop, and Blyth photographer Peter Grey from MPG Photography will be on site to take photos of the day.
