THE first ever Bedlington music festival will take place later this year.

Bedrock will be held within venues on Bedlington Front Street on June 4, in conjunction with the Queens Diamond Jubilee, where ten venues will host ten hours of live music throughout the day ranging from solo artists to tribute bands.

All the pubs and clubs will swing open their doors for a day of free family entertainment, and the finale will be held at Netherton Social Club in Bedlington and will include Robbie Williams and Lady Gaga tribute acts.

Tickets priced at £20 for the finale include a three course meal, and are available by calling (01670) 828150.
