MORPETH’S St George’s Community Players tread the boards next week with their spring production of a farcical chiller.
Wanted – One Body!, by Raymond Dyer, runs for three nights in St George’s Church Hall, Morpeth, from March 17 to March 19 starting at 7.30pm.
The play is set in the family home of the late Charles Barraclough where those invited wait to hear the fortune he has left for his future heirs.
But who stands to inherit this, and will it be by foul means or fair?
Grieving family and faithful servants wait with bated breath to hear the last will and testament, only to discover that this death holds nothing but surprises as the body count increases in this farcical chiller.
A classic old mansion mystery with bumbling solicitors, brooding chauffeurs and Hector (the family guinea pig!).
Who will be the next victim?
And is Charles Barraclough really even dead?
Only time will tell.
Wanted – One Body – but whose?
Tickets are available from Chantry Tourist Information Centre priced at £5 adults, £4 concessions.
