Society puts its photos on display in exhibition

A south east Northumberland-based photography group is holding an exhibition in a bid to encourage new members.

A selection of images by members of Blyth Photographic Society are now on show at Blyth Sports Centre where they will remain on display for two months.

The organisation was created from the formation of Blyth and District Camera Club in 1936 which emerged as Blyth Photographic Society in 1947.

The group holds meetings every Thursday at 7.15pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Wanley Street, Blyth, between September and April.
