A full programme of activities is in full swing at Woodhorn for half term this week.
The museum is open 10am to 4pm every day until Sunday, November 3, and visitors will be able to take part in craft activities, trails and walks.
Free family friendly guided walks around the former colliery site will take place each day at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm.
And there is a chance to make a spooky paper bag lantern in the drop-in craft workshop between 11am and 1pm and 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Ridgeside Falconry will also be making a welcome return visit to Woodhorn with their birds of prey which will be on display from 11am to 3pm, and there will be the opportunity to see these remarkable creatures displaying their flying skills at noon and 2pm.
