A huge slice of fundraising has been served up by generous Cramlington pupils.
Cragside Church of England Primary School organised a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds for cancer support.
And it was overwhelmed with cake donations from pupils’ parents and families.
The event itself was also well supported, with £350 collected for the charity.
Macmillan fundraising manager for North Tyneside and Northumberland Sarah Goldie, who helped out, said: “I was overwhelmed and delighted with the effort that had been made by all of the children, parents and staff. There were so many cakes and biscuits. They really were a part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“When it comes to supporting a charity, the school does really come together.”
