Care home residents can get closer to nature, thanks to a friend’s memorial.
A beautiful bird table has been presented to Northlea Court in Cramlington in memory of the late John Prior.
John was a popular and respected resident of the home for two-and-a-half years, and his family visited every day. Even Meg, their dog, knew her way around.
Now the Priors have donated a lasting tribute.
Home administrator Yvonne Pearson said: “Our residents love being in the gardens and feeding the birds so this was a very much appreciated and heartfelt gift, and a wonderful dedication to the lovely gentleman that John Prior was.”
Pictured are John’s wife Nancy, daughter Gill, son Grahame, daughter-in-law Susan, and Meg.
