Parents of pupils preparing for their GCSE exams have been given tips and advice on how to support the youngsters.
Bedlingtonshire Community High School held the special event for parents of Year 11 students ahead of the exams this summer.
They were given the chance to speak to staff about how to help their child cope with the pressure of exams and what to do to encourage effective revision.
Led by student performance leader Mr Duckworth, parents were given tips ranging from diets around exam time to helping their child revise.
Assistant headteacher at the school, Jamie Bell, said: “Take up for the evening was encouraging.
“We were very happy with the way parents have embraced their role in helping the child prepare for the exams.”
