CRIME prevention advice will be on offer to shoppers in Cramlington later this month.
A mobile police station will be parked up at the Manor Walks shopping centre, next to the entrance to Asda, on Saturday, July 21, from 10am to 2pm.
Shoppers will be able to ask officers for advice, and cyclists can have their bikes marked to boost their chances of recovery if they are lost or stolen.
Community support officer Barry Elliot said: “This is a great opportunity for people to come along for an informal chat.
“We are providing free crime prevention advice and bike-marking so people can protect themselves from thieves.”
