The All-in-One Company led the way in making the onesie a must-have wardrobe staple, and now it is taking its place on the Northumberland tourist trail as its factory is turned into a fantasy realm inspired by classic stories such as Alice in Wonderland.

Visitors will be able to book an All-in-One Experience to step into ‘the Hall of Fame’ and see pictures of the many personalities who have donned the company’s handmade onesies, before heading to The Fabric Room to choose material for their own outfit.

It’s then off to The Cutting Room, Embroidery Station and The Sewing Room to see their onesie created, with a final stop at The Tea Room for refreshments.

Kate Dawson, who set up the business in 2008, said: “It’s a fascinating process and something that I think will intrigue and inspire.

“We’ve always had a close and interactive relationship with our family of customers so the All-in-One Experience seemed the next logical step.”

Schools and fashion students can also tour the factory.

The initiative follows news that the business has been admitted to the prestigious Guild of Master Craftsmen for its high standards of customer care, quality and presentation.

The Guild was also impressed with its support of other businesses, helping to establish Flaparaps for potty training, The Wool Room’s Woolsie onesie and Hunt and Wilson’s luxury dog beds.
