A care home raised more than £1,000 at its annual summer fair.
Cramlington House, which cares for people living with dementia, opened its doors to the community.
And a large crowd, including many families and friends, enjoyed stalls and activities.
Loraine Brunton, general manager at Craig Healthcare which owns and manages Cramlington House, said: “Our annual summer fair really is a key highlight of our social events and occasions, and this year’s fair didn’t disappoint.
“There was so much going on, including a huge raffle with some fabulous prizes, pony rides, bric-a-brac and jewellery stalls, as well as the opportunity to take part in some fun and games, such as ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ and ‘name the dog’.
“It was great to see families from the local area attend, as well as residents and their relatives, and get involved in the fun too.”
Supported by glorious weather, the fair raised an impressive £1,200.
Loraine added: “Raising £1,200 was fantastic. This money will go towards the residents’ fund that’s used to take them out on day trips and social outings, so it’s very much appreciated.
“Thank you to everyone who came along, it was a cracking day.”
