Funding for the animal ambulance largely came from a grant awarded by Support Adoption for Pets – the balance was made up by an anonymous donor.

It will make a huge difference in transporting rescues in safety and comfort and the signwriting will help bring the charity to the public’s attention.

Kevin Baker founded Westie Rescue UK with his partner Nikki in November 2016. It gained registered charity status in June last year and a network of fosters has been built up across the country.
