Animals will visit shopping centre

Families visiting Manor Walks shopping centre this weekend will be able to get up close and meeting the animals at the centre’s Petting Zoo.

A mix of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and a few furry friends will be stopping at Manor Walks on Friday, April 10, from 11am to 3pm, as Animal Story visits Centre Mall.

The interactive event, which aims to encourage an interest in wildlife and the natural world amongst the younger generation, will also give shoppers the opportunity to come face-to-face with a selection of creatures, while others can be handled and stroked.

In addition to the Petting Zoo, Manor Walks will be hosting a range of Easter Crafts with Lev3l 3 Crafters.

General manager Bruno Coppola said: “Our Petting Zoo is a fantastic way of inspiring the local community into thinking about different animals and wildlife, whilst also giving them the chance to get to know a variety of species.”
