Families flocked to Blyth Market Place earlier this month to enjoy the Silx Teen Bar Youth Festival entertainment and free activities.
Laser tag, a smoothie bike, face-painting, a DJ, inflatable fun, a SureStart playbus, arts and crafts, a rodeo bull, balloon modelling and superhero characters, two of which are pictured, were among the attractions.
Young volunteers from Silx led the crowd in a mass performance of the Cha Cha Slide.
There were also stalls run by Newsham and New Delaval Youth Forum, the Buffalo Community Centre, the Blyth neighbourhood police team and The Army Reserve, among other organisations.
The current High Sheriff of Northumberland, Michael Orde, opened the festival and then spent time chatting with young people from Silx and representatives of the other organisations in attendance.
