Apartments completed at Blyth development
New apartments are now available to rent on a housing development.
Ascent Homes has completed the work on the Plessey Green development next to Blyth Golf Course.
A total of 12 two-bedroom apartments have been constructed, set out over three floors, across two blocks.
Since the completion of work, Ascent Homes has received a high level of interest in the apartments.
Ascent Homes’ development director, Duncan Bowman said: “Plessey Green is the second site Ascent Homes brought to the market and with only one property remaining for sale, it has proved to be a hugely successful development.
“By including apartments, I believe we have been able to cater for a wide variety of owners and occupiers on one development, in a great location.”
Arch chairman Richard Wearmouth added: “It is widely accepted that there is a growing need for private rental accommodation throughout the UK.
“This is certainly the case in Northumberland, where little has been built for many years and demand is high.
“This latest apartment development is a great example of how we can cater for the private renter with high quality homes.
“Of course, we are also building affordable homes and I‘m delighted to say that great progress is being made on a development of new build-bungalows specifically designed for the over 55s which is only a stone’s throw away from Plessey Green.”
“Furthermore, in Nelson Village, Cramlington, 28 affordable homes are currently under construction.”
