Northumberland food lovers are in for a tasty treat this month as Seaton Delaval sees the launch of a new food festival.
The first Seaton Delaval Food Festival takes place at the Seaton Delaval Arts Centre on Saturday, November 7, from 10am to 2pm.
It will offer visitors a scrumptious experience as a variety of north east traders and businesses set up stall in the venue for a day of food, drinks and craft.
Among the local food traders attending the festival will be The Northumberland Sausage Company, Riverford Organic Farms, the newly-refurbished Hastings Arms showcasing their news Christmas fare menu and new local business Jilly’s Homebake with a range of delectable cakes and pastries, plus many more local companies.
The event ties in with the Arts Centre’s monthly coffee morning, allowing visitors to sit down and taste some of the delicious produce on sale with a range of hot and cold drinks available.
The festival is looking for local traders to bring a stall to the event, both food and craft based.
