Residents and members of the care team at HC-Ones Ashington Grange Care Home in Ashington have donned hard hats to inspect the homes current refurbishment project.

Since the announcement of HC-One’s £100m investment programme in February, Ashington Grange and other HC-One homes across the country have been undergoing revamps.

Residents at the Moorhouse Lane home have been invited to see the improvements being carried out there.

Home manager Pauline Safe said: “Residents have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the refurbishment works.

“We’re really looking forward to opening our newly-refurbished areas and making the most of them in the coming months.”

HC-One regional managing director Glen Mason added: “It is great to see residents getting fully involved in every stage of this upgrade process.

“This is a very significant and exciting initiative for HC-One, and getting residents involved is an important part of how HC-One provides the kindest care.”
