A man was taken to hospital after he was assaulted outside an Army reserve centre in south east Northumberland.
The man was walking along Cowpen Road in Blyth, at around 7pm on Thursday, March 19, when he was attacked by four youths outside the TA centre.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to an arm injury, and police sealed off the centre.
One of the men believed to be responsible is described as being 6ft and wearing a beige jacket and a beanie hat with a pom-pom.
Extra officers are in the area carrying out enquiries and providing reassurance.
